Word of the Month, manners

Hello everyone, we have a new word of the month!
Manners
Polite words and respectful actions that show other people that they matter.
Please
Thank you
You’re welcome
These words are very important because they smooth out all the times we spend talking and interacting with other people. Imagine if you met someone and they told you “Sit down here.” It would sound much better if they had said “Would you please come have a seat here?”
Being polite and having good manners allows everyone to show they value your time. Imagine if Master Chang was teaching a class and a student kept rudely interrupting him. Everyone would suffer because Master Chang would not be able to teach fully! Interrupting with manners allows everyone to feel like they matter. This is the best way to show your kind words AND kind ways.
What are some ways to show good manners at Taekwondo?
  1. Put your shoes away nicely
  2. Say Hello to your Instructors
  3. Say Goodbye to your Instructors
  4. Bowing properly
  5. Keeping your belongings neat and tidy during training.
**If you would like extra stars**
  1. Describe Manners in your own words
  2. Draw a picture about Manners
  3. Take a picture of someone showing good manners
