Making friends as a martial artist

Hello everyone! Chang's Taekwondo students from South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen and aldergrove are back in school and settling into their new classes. This time of year is especially good for making new friends! So here is our Chang's Taekwondo Martial Arts guide toMaking friends as a martial artist. We are all so happy to be back in our classrooms and see our old friends! Sometimes we will notice new faces we've never seen before. New students coming from different schools to join us. We should be the ones to be welcoming and introduce ourselves! Are we not martial artists! Do we not have courage! We will definitely be helping them, as they are most likely nervous and a little overwhelmed at the changes a new school can bring. As martial artists we should always be positive, and a force for good. We should also strive to make good choices in our friends we make. We should make friends with people who respect us and share our values. We should make sure we trust our friends. When we make new friends we will also tell our parents, so our parents know who are friends are. This way our parents won't have to worry about us so much, and they can trust in our judgement.Let's make many new friends this school year! Let's also be welcoming to new friends to help them feel comfortable and happy.
