Changs Taekwondo Picnic Oct 1st 10:30am

Hello everyone! Our Annual Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts Picnic is just around the bend! Students from all of our schools in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, and Aldergrove are more than welcome to bring their family and friends to join us on October 1st. The picnic will start at 11am sharp, in Peace Arch Park (located right beside the US/Canadian border). If it is raining we will unfortunately have to cancel the picnic! Please check our facebook, website or give us a call to double check on the day of!We will be having a fundraiser as many of us know, to support our amazing sparring team! We want to see our competitors moving to the next level and this is just the way to get the ball rolling! So if you like pizza make sure you support our sparring team and pre-purchase your delicious food from your local Instructors before Wednesday, September 28th!These days we are all noticing it is getting a little cooler, because it is now Autumn! This season has to do with changes. We are in the midst of changing from Summer’s warm weather to Winter’s cold weather! Autumn is nice because the temperatures aren’t as hot as summer, but we can still have some nice sunny days. Now, how can we enjoy our Autumn to it’s fullest potential? We can start a few good habits:Layer your clothing!Too many times it will be cold in the morning, warm in the afternoon and then cool again in the evening. The best way to dress appropriately is the have layers you can take off and put on.Picnic-White-Rock-Peach-Arch-Park-South-Surrey-Martial-ArtsWear socks in the house! As the weather gets cooler our house will get cooler too. Make sure we keep our feet warm and cozy, because we need our feet for many of our Taekwondo Techniques!Wear the appropriate footwear!During the Autumn season, there can be lots of rain, and mud.. Therefore we urge students to wear the appropriate boots and shoes for the weather. If we wear the wrong footwear, we could ruin it!Your parents have seen many an Autumn, so they will have some ideas of things to do to have a good Autumn. Make sure we listen to our parents and respect them!See you all at the Picnic! (October 1st, 10:30am-2pm @ Peace Arch Park!)
