How to have a safe halloween - Changs Taekwondo

Hello everyone! We’re very excited to have our Aldergrove location opening up so soon! Once again if you would like to visit,  the location is on 264th street and 16th Avenue and opening in the beginning of November. Before that, this week there is an exciting event coming; Halloween! Today we would like to share some tips with all our students at Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen.

  1. First of all, it’s important to stay warm during the trick-or-treating! Make sure to wear clothes either under you costume, or a jacket over your costume, because this time of year it gets quite cool at night.
  2. While Trick-or-Treating, make sure we all stay close to our parents! It’s such an exciting time, but we have to maintain our self control and not run too far ahead. Remember, if your family is having fun and being safe, you can enjoy your evening more!
  3. When you get home, make sure you let Mom and Dad check your candy, they will make sure all the candy is safe to eat! (And if they happen to take one, we must show good respect :P )
  4. Make sure you save some candy for later! If you eat all your candy right away, you’ll get a bad stomach ache!
  5. Always brush your teeth and floss everyday, but especially during this time of year! Make sure you don’t get any cavities because of the candy you receive on Halloween.

Changs Taekwondo HaloweenReminder: Your Halloween special class is coming up on October 28-31st! Make sure you bring your costume and your friends! Prepare to have a spooky good time!~All the Instructors from all Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts locations would like to wish their students and families a safe and fun Halloween this year!**Your Mission, should you choose to accept it…

  1. Have an Awesome Halloween Costume.
  2. Bring your friend to the Halloween Party.
  3. Explain to your Instructors how you will be safe on Halloween eve.

As always, should you complete any or all of the above objectives, talk to your Instructor to receive extra stars!**
