How to continue training during spring break
Hello everyone! Can you believe it is already spring break? School aged students of Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen and Aldergrove have 2 weeks class free! The real question, is what will we do with all this time off school? Will we be lazy and play video games all day? Will we sleep in late? Go to bed later? Here is a poem for everyone to think about:The Road Not TakenTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel bothAnd be one traveler, long I stoodAnd looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claim,Because it was grassy and wanted wear;Though as for that the passing thereHad worn them really about the same,And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black.Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way,I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sighSomewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.-Robert FrostThis can apply to all aspects of people lives, but particularly during spring break for our vulnerable younger generation! This we know, most children will be sleeping late, and playing too many video games this spring break.. So we challenge our Chang’s Taekwondo students to take the other ‘road’ the “road less traveled by.” We promise, with staying to a good routine and being active and limiting video games… it will make “all the difference.”Reminder! All Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts locations will be fully open during spring break!
