Returning to Training

Hello everyone, as you’ve probably hear we are re-opening June 1st! We’re very excited to open our doors to physical training again! Our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts locations in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, and Mission will be re-opening physically. With our Aldergrove location streaming online for a little while longer.We’re excited to train together again, and we’re going to do so with a little ‘social distancing twist!’ Here are some of the new things you’ll see in our dojang beginning on June 1st.⁃    Everyone will be wearing masks!⁃    If you have a mask, bring it! If you don’t have a mask, we’ll be selling disposable masks for $1.00 each.⁃    We will also be selling re-useable (cloth) masks with our Chang’s Taekwondo logo on them! In both Junior and Senior sizes. :)⁃    Everyone will be wearing shoes/socks!⁃    The very minimum is socks, there will also be options to buy Taekwondo shoes through us⁃    We have also ordered some thin and value priced Taekwondo shoe socks from Korea — arriving soon!⁃    You will be training in a square⁃    Everyone training in your class will get their very own square to train in! We will try to remain in our square as much as possible!⁃    Our office will receive a plexiglass upgrade!⁃    Student and parents will be able to ask questions one at a time in the office and view us through a whole new plexiglass light!⁃    Our schedules now include cleaning between each class.⁃    Our cleanliness was good before, and now it’s amazing! We have sanitization and cleaning done between each class including the mats and high traffic areas and objects (door knobs, doors, pads, shoe rack, etc.)Your health as students, family members and the health of the instructor team are of the utmost importance to us. We are so excited to return to training, and wish to do so in the best way possible. While still follow provincial, federal, Worksafebc and Fraser health guidelines.We will keep you all updated with protocol changes, schedule changes, updates and announcements.See you all on the mats — literally!
