Hello everyone! Our spring break camp starts next week at our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts schools in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, and Aldergrove.
We also just had a Belt promotion test where many of our students broke their boards (and a bad habit!) to receive their new belts. The test is very exciting, and a flashy step towards getting your blackbelt. Somewhat less flashy is the grind of attending all your classes and working very hard..
Every Belt Promotion Ceremony we have a student from each of the schools receive a Chang’s Medal. This is for students who are attending their regular classes and showing the best attitude while doing that. This means they did not miss any classes.
If you are sick, or if you are away these are the only reasons we should be missing class! So what happens if we have a good reason like this?
Make-Up Classes!
You have 2 options, we can come on Saturdays (For the South Surrey, and Cloverdale locations) or you can come to another class for your age or level (All locations). However for the latter, we must consult your Instructors first. We cannot just show up to a class that is not our regular training class. Our instructors need to insure we have enough Instructors, helpers, and that the class will go smoothly.
Make sure we never miss a class and work hard to achieve our Blackbelt!
**If you would like to receive extra stars:
1. Tell your Instructors your plan if you ever miss a class
2. Tell your Instructor a good reason to miss one class
3. Tell your Instructor a bad reason to miss a class
