Healthy Eating

Hello everyone! We had our promotion test on Saturday and all the students did amazingly! We want everyone to continue their hard work and earn their new belts every single class. Make sure when we show up for class, we really show up! Bring our effort and energy to the mats and make the training better for everyone.
How can we bring energy and effort if we have none? We must eat healthy food in order to get energy!
What is healthy food?
  • Fruits!
  • Vegetables!
  • Usually food made at home!
  • Salad!
  • Soups!
We want to try and avoid processed food, so when we are grocery shopping, try to stay on the outside aisles of the store. This will be produce, meat, etc. Avoid the snack aisles!!
Eating at the right time is essential, too many large snacks in between meals will throw off your appetite and blood sugar. It’s usually prudent to consume 3 meals and 2 snacks in between! Try to keep the snacks small and healthy.
With a thoughtful mind, we can take a new approach to how we eat and definitely increase our energy and overall health. This will in turn affect our Taekwondo training, which will make us even better Martial Artists! See you on the mats Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Artists from South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove and Mission!
