Friends in Martial Arts

Hello everyone! We hope you’re enjoying the long weekend, we’d love to hear about what you are doing on the mats come Tuesday.
Today we’d like to talk about Friends and how they relate to your Martial Arts training.
First, it’s good to join taekwondo with a friend or many friends because this will make the training mats a familiar place. Friends with motivate you to attend class even when you won’t feel like it! (And there will be days like those!)
Secondly, you will make new friends in your martial arts class. These friends will have very specific things in common with you. These friends are what make training entertaining and seeing how you will only interact when them on the mats, you will look forward to seeing them.
Thirdly, you will undoubtedly have a good relationship with your instructor. Making sure you greet and also bid farewell to your Instructor will show that you care. Listening when they talk or bowing and being grateful when they offer advice will show you are respectful and the Instructor is respected.
Keep up a good relationship with all these types of friends at Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove and Mission. See you on the mats!
