Changs Taekwondo New Year Blog

Hello everyone! On behalf of all your Instructors from Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen and Aldergrove we would like to say Happy New Year and Welcome back to training! This year definitely feels like it will be special, and we will work extra hard to help all our students to reach their goals.Helpful hints for setting realistic goals:1. Set a timeframe: I will accomplish my goal by 'day/month.'2. Break it into manageable pieces: first I will begin this part, then move into this next part and then I will finish the last part.3. Track your goal: whether you are watching weight, or how fast you complete something, or how much of something you can do.. Make a table and track your progress.4. Tell others: by telling other people about your goal, you are becoming accountable for completing it. If I tell my parents I will do the splits by the next year, I will want to do it so they can't say anything!5. Have a reward for yourself when you accomplish your goal! Make it something that will motivate you in hard times.Changs TaekwondoAs always, your Instructors are here to help. Whether you're having trouble with one of the steps, or just need some extra motivation or guidance, we will help you along in the right direction.**Special Objectives for this week.1. Pick a goal2.
