Changs Taekwondo Leadership: Being a leader, being in charge

Hello everyone! The weather is turning colder now, we must now get ready for the arrival of winter! With the change in weather comes a change in the word of the week as well! This week we will focus on: Leadership: Being a leader, being in charge. “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. “ - John C. MaxwellStudents of Chang’s Taekwondo South Surrey and Cloverdale locations! We are asking every single one of you to be a good leader! We say good, because there are not so good leaders as well. In your class if you are fooling around, you can actually make other students fool around as well. Whereas if you are trying your best and yelling loud other students will want to do the same. If you are the highest belt, you sit at the front of the class. All the other lower belt students can see you clearly. They want to be a high belt just like you, so they will try and act like you. If you’re fooling around it is not a good example for the rest of the class. There is a time for fun, and there is a time for Taekwondo Training! Always do your best, and always be respectful and you will already be a great leader in your Taekwondo class, your family and your life.
