Chang’s Taekwondo Gear blog
Hello everyone! We hope everyone had a great Canada Day! Students from Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove, and Mission were able to spend the day with their families and enjoy some liquid sunshine! This week we’re taking a look at all the training gear Chang’s Taekwondo has to offer! If you checked your dojang facebook pages and groups, you would have seen that our new masks have arrived! They look great and they have a very important message on each mask that embodies our ethos during the pandemic“Nothing can stop me from training.”Masks are necessary at this point, which is why it is easy to recommend buying re-usable masks like ours. They are better for the environment and support your dojang during these times! The masks come in one size — simply adjust the string to have the perfect fit!Another new piece of training equipment we recently got our ‘feet’ on are the new Taekwondo Socks! These socks allow for better grip than a usual sock, but not so expensive as the Taekwondo shoes. As Instructors the shoes make sense, we are on the mats many hours every day! For the average Taekwondo student who trains twice a week — the Taekwondo Socks will be a great upgrade from regular socks. The socks come in all shoe sizes, talk to your Instructors to get the right size for you.We are also into summer now! Students are able to wear their Chang’s Taekwondo T-shirts again. We sell the black and white t-shirts all year round, however we try to stay traditional with our doboks (uniform) when it’s not too hot. These shirts are lightweight and are much cooler than cotton! T-shirts are available in all sizes, so check them out next time you’re in your local dojang.(You may be wondering, “We have spring/summer camp t-shirts! Can we wear those for training??” Sadly the answer is no. We still wish to maintain a semblance of traditional colours while training.. so during the summer months we may wear our dobok, black, or white t-shirts with our Taekwondo pants and belt.)Our pricing for the new equipment are as followsChang’s Taekwondo Mask: $5.00 eachChang’s Taekwondo T-shirt: $22.00 eachTaekwondo Socks: $25.00 eachThank you for your support, and we can’t wait to train with you on the mats come Monday.
