Chang's Tae kwon do Weekly Blog - Flexibility
Hello everyone!
We have completed our super special sparring seminar with Master Moon! We experienced the intense training and precise strategetic thinking of a professional Taekwondo Coach. Students prepare yourself for a refreshed and more exciting sparring component to your training! This week our focus will be:
Flexibility
Flexibility is very important to many aspects of your life. It’s good to be flexible so when you are turning around in your chair to talk to someone, you don’t pull a muscle! Flexibility is very important in Taekwondo as well. Master Moon gave us many stretches and exercises to help improve our flexibility, and we will share these new ideas with all our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts students.
Let’s take a moment to talk about your natural flexibility. Some people are more flexible than others, this is ok! It doesn’t mean doing the splits or kicking high is impossible for someone who isn’t naturally flexible, they just have more training to do and stretching to do before they can achieve it. This means they will be more appreciative of their newfound flexibility after all the hard work!
Flexibility is good for when you get older too! When you get older you can do more and have more fun with grandchildren if you are still able to move freely with good flexibility; it’s good for you health!
