Back To School With A Martial Arts Mindset

Hello everyone! It’s that time of year when the're both christmas trees and halloween treats at your local stores, and everything from Binders to lunch boxes line the shelves. It’s back to school season!This weeks blog will be about how to go back to school with a Martial Artists Mindset.The first step to returning to schoolBack to school with a Martial Artists Mindsetsuccessfully is to have self control regarding your sleeping habits. During the summer there is no school, therefore we all tend to sleep in a little bit. This can be disastrous when having to wake up at 6am on a regular basis in september. We recommend all students have the self control to wake up even a little bit early a week before school begins. This will help you feel refreshed and ready to go on your first week back!Also, when you come to Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts, you know what we’re going to be learning during the different weeks. Why not have the same mindset when attending school! An important word of the week is perseverance. At the beginning of the year students receive their textbooks, therefore students should persevere and read ahead! This does not mean you need to study like crazy, maybe only 15 minutes a day of light reading in the chapters that are going to be covered.
