Training At Home

Hello everyone! Today we have a special message from our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts Instructors in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove, and Mission.
Train at home!
Supplementing you’re in-class training with training at home is a great way to be more effective on the mats. Practicing at home reaffirms what we learned on the mats. If we don’t review what we learned every day, how can we remember it all?
Here are a few things we can practice at home:
  • Poomsae
  • Kicking Combinations
  • Board Breaking
  • Rolling
  • Body Defence
  • Stretching
  • Basic kicks and blocks
Practicing starts with only 5 minutes. Usually after your first 5 minutes, you’re inspired, fired up and ready to carry on training for a while longer.
We as your instructors, can clearly see who practices at home and who doesn’t. Make your parents, instructor and most importantly yourself proud by practicing at home!
