Respect at Changs Taekwondo

Hello everyone! Our students from Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts in South Surrey, Cloverdale, Tsawwassen, Aldergrove and Mission are learning about a new word of the month:

Respect

Treating everyone like they matter.

So how can we treat our friends and family like they matter?

We can listen to them when they talk. Make eye contact when we see them, and make them feel like they matter.

We can smile and be happy to see people in our life, and this means they can feel wanted and respected.

At taekwondo we can polite and considerate of others. To be respectful at taekwondo we greet our friends and instructors with a bow, we keep our finger nails trimmed and our uniforms clean to respect ourselves and others.

We choose to be respectful or not in everything we do, now let’s make sure as martial artists we make the right choice!
