How to have a happy, healthy and productive summer break. Changs Taekwondo

Hello everyone! Almost everyone has finished their school year, hurray! We’d like to congratulate everyone on another successful year of learning and improving. To carry on this spirit of learning and improving, let’s talk about:

How to have a happy, healthy and productive summer break.

This spring/summer has been so beautiful so far! So we’re pushing all of our Chang’s Taekwondo Martial Arts students from South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen to go outside as much as possible. It is very important to spend time outside. We breath fresh air, we absorb necessary vitamin D, and of our we can have more fun outside!

For those of you who enjoy indoor activities, why not divide your time! Spend 1 hour inside, and half an hour to one hour outside! Trade offs work well, and you can throw in your Taekwondo practice as well! Our word of the month for June is ‘Trustworthiness,’ therefore we want all students to be trustworthy enough to practice their techniques! There is no shortcut to becoming good at something, it takes hard work and perseverance every day! You can do it!

Speaking of Taekwondo practice, we would like to remind everyone we are fully open during the summer. We have our School Break July 19th (We close) until August 4th (We’re open!).

Lastly, we would like to remind our students that it is summer, and we should all drink lots of water, put on sunscreen and generally try to stay as healthy, strong and happy as possible!

Three things you can do right now to spend a good summer

  1. Go to the Beach
  2. Go to the Park
  3. Go for a Bike ride
**Remember, there is no need to bring the beach, the park, or your bike to Taekwondo Class. Simply let us know you achieved these objectives and we will reward you with a star for each one completed.**
