Discipline: I work before I play! Changs Taekwondo

Hello everyone! We have a busy october ahead of us for our Changs Taekwondo Schools in South Surrey, Cloverdale and Tsawwassen. Please listen closely when the Instructors go through the announcements so you don't miss anything! This month we'd like to discuss our new Powerful word. These words are important because they improve the character of all students, being useful both inside and outside of the Taekwondo Classroom. This month we're focusing on:Discipline: I work before I play!Playing is fun, and we all know it! But we also need to accomplish our goals. Imagine if we ate our dessert before we ate our dinner, would you finish your dinner? Or would you eat too many sweets and become full before dinner. Therefore we eat dinner first, so we can eat the good food and then have sweets afterwards. If we work hard and focus before we have fun, we will definitely improve and accomplish our goals.Changst Taekwondo DisiplineDiscipline is expected in Martial Arts class. When people look at you while you train during your class, they should be blown away by how straight you stand, By how quickly you respond, by how loud you are right off the bat. We train our students to show discipline, and therefore expect good discipline both on and off the mats. Let's Work Hard and Play Hard!!
