Chang's Taekwondo - Thanksgiving: How to Be Thankful for What We Have
Hello everyone! It’s that time of year where we reflect on everything we have and be thankful. That’s right, it’s
Thanksgiving; How to be thankful for what we have.
Chang’s Taekwondo students are focusing on including respect in their character this month with our word of the month; respect. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to show your respect for your friends and family.
Thanksgiving usually means having people over for a big dinner! So your house must be clean.. The best way to show respect for your family is to help out with the cleaning or the cooking!
We have to be thankful for a quite a lot in our lives. We live in a beautiful place, the weather is usually very nice. We have quite a few very kind people living around us, and we have friends and family to keep us company. It’s times of the year like this that we should really stop and appreciate all we have, because we all do have more than we know.
“The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings.” ― Henry Ward Beecher
